Why we exist

If you live on AMI, you know the drill. You've got a dresser to assemble, a TV to mount, a couple of pictures to hang, maybe a leaky faucet. Nothing crazy. You call around. Every handyman quotes a two-hour minimum at $100+/hr and can't come out for three weeks.

Meanwhile, the island is full of friendly, capable people who'd happily help their neighbor for a reasonable rate. We just needed to organize that energy into a business with a phone number, a brand, and a truck.

That's the Tasquatch.

What we believe

• Island-only means island-only. We don't chase mainland work. Keeps response times fast. Keeps the community tight.
• Small jobs matter. A 45-minute tasq isn't "beneath us" — it's our bread and butter.
• Transparent pricing builds trust. One rate, one phone number. No upsells. No mystery fees.
• Know your lane. We're not electricians, plumbers, or HVAC techs. We'll tell you when you need one.

Licensed & insured

Tasquatch carries general liability insurance in the State of Florida. If something goes wrong on a tasq, you're covered. We're happy to send a certificate of insurance to property managers or HOAs that request it.

We are not a licensed plumber, electrician, or general contractor — and we won't pretend to be. For licensed trades, we refer you to pros we trust on the island.

We serve Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, and Bradenton Beach — everything south of Longboat Pass to the Manatee-Avenue Bridge. ZIP codes 34216 and 34217.
