The rules of the road. Short version: we'll do our best, we'll fix our mistakes, and we're honest about what we do.
Last updated: April 2026. These terms apply to all services provided by Tasquatch ("we," "our," "us") to customers ("you") on Anna Maria Island, Florida.
Tasquatch provides handyman and task services including, but not limited to, furniture assembly, TV mounting, fixture installation, pressure washing, errand running, beach-gear setup, storm preparation, and similar small-scale tasks. We are not a licensed contractor. We do not perform work requiring a contractor's license, including licensed electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, or roofing work.
Our standard rate is $35 per hour, with a one-hour minimum and 15-minute increments thereafter. Parts and materials are billed at cost. Card payments include a 3% processing fee. Payment is due upon completion of work unless agreed otherwise in writing.
We serve Anna Maria Island, Florida — the cities of Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, and Bradenton Beach (ZIP codes 34216 and 34217). We do not provide services on the mainland.
Bookings are typically confirmed same-day or within 24 hours. Cancellations made at least 2 hours before scheduled arrival incur no charge. Same-day cancellations within 2 hours of scheduled arrival may incur a one-hour minimum charge.
We carry general liability insurance in the State of Florida. If we cause damage to your property during the course of work, we will repair or replace at our cost, up to the limits of our insurance. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, defects, or damage unrelated to the work we perform.
If we assembled or installed something and it fails due to our error within 30 days, we will come back and fix it at no charge. This guarantee does not cover damage from misuse, normal wear, Acts of God, or work performed by others after our departure.
We reserve the right to refuse any task that is unsafe, illegal, requires a license we don't hold, or is outside the scope of what we offer. We'll tell you immediately and won't charge for the attempt.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes will be resolved in Manatee County, Florida.
